Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the DARKFADERZ mobile app handles personal information.

Information we use

Depending on the features you use, we may process your name, email address, account identifier, appointment and queue information, loyalty and referral activity, reviews and ratings, birthday day/month if you choose to provide it, preferred barber, notification registration information, hairstyle reference photos and AI Style Studio images.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and manage your account, provide bookings and live queue services, operate rewards and referrals, send requested service notifications, provide customer support, show your saved preferences and generate hairstyle previews you request.

AI Style Studio

If you use AI Style Studio, the photos you choose are uploaded for processing so the app can generate hairstyle previews. A specialist cloud AI service may process those images on our behalf. Generated images are illustrative previews and cannot guarantee an identical real-world haircut result.

Service providers

We use service providers including Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, notifications and backend services, and Cloudflare Workers AI for requested AI hairstyle generation. They process data to provide services to DARKFADERZ and are not authorised by us to use your information for their own advertising.

Payments

Pay in Store is currently available. If Pay in App is enabled in a future release, this policy will be updated to explain the connected payment provider and payment-data handling before that feature is released.

Retention and deletion

You can request permanent account deletion inside the app from Profile. Account deletion removes the customer sign-in account, personal profile, AI hairstyle source photos, generated AI images, saved AI looks, notifications, loyalty history and associated personal app data. Historical booking or review records may be retained only in anonymised form where reasonably required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal obligations.

Your rights

Under applicable UK data-protection law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Contact us first if you would like help exercising a privacy right.

Security

We use encrypted network connections and access controls designed to protect app data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

The app is intended for ordinary barber-shop customers. A parent or guardian should supervise account use by a child where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or our service providers change. The latest version will be published at this URL.
