BRYLOQ Privacy Policy

BRYLOQ is a productivity application that helps users capture, organise and manage tasks, reminders, plans and calendar activities using voice, text, images, files and artificial intelligence.

Information BRYLOQ may access or process
BRYLOQ may process information that you voluntarily provide when using the app, including typed task and reminder content, transcribed voice input, photographs or images selected or captured by you, files or documents selected by you, and calendar event information when you choose to connect Google Calendar.

BRYLOQ may also process technical information necessary to operate and protect the service, including app/device integrity information used by Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity.

Voice and microphone
BRYLOQ requests microphone access only when you choose to use voice input. Voice input is used to convert your spoken instructions into text for creating and organising tasks, reminders and plans. BRYLOQ does not continuously listen to or record your microphone in the background.

Camera, photos and files
If you choose to use the camera, select an image, or select a file, BRYLOQ accesses that content only to provide the feature you requested, such as extracting or organising information into tasks or plans.

Artificial intelligence processing
When you choose AI-powered features such as Organise with AI, Plan My Day or similar features, relevant user-provided content may be securely transmitted to Google services through Firebase AI Logic and the applicable Gemini API for processing. This processing is used to interpret your instructions and generate structured productivity information such as tasks, dates, reminders and plans.

Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you choose to connect it, BRYLOQ may access calendar events and may create or update calendar events as requested by you. Calendar information is used only to provide calendar and planning functionality. BRYLOQ does not sell calendar information or use it for advertising.

Local storage
Tasks, reminders, plans and related BRYLOQ information may be stored locally on your device so that the app can remember your information between sessions. You can remove locally stored app information by deleting items in the app, clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling BRYLOQ.

Third-party services
BRYLOQ uses Google and Firebase services, including Firebase AI Logic, Firebase App Check, Google Play Integrity, Google Sign-In and Google Calendar. These services may process information necessary to provide their functionality and are subject to their applicable privacy and data-processing terms.

Data sharing
BRYLOQ does not sell your personal information. Information is transmitted to service providers only where necessary to provide features that you request, operate the app, protect the service, or comply with legal obligations.

Security
Information transmitted between BRYLOQ and supported online services is protected using encrypted network connections such as HTTPS/TLS.

Data retention and deletion
BRYLOQ retains locally stored productivity information until you delete it, clear the application's data or uninstall the app. Information processed by third-party service providers is subject to their applicable retention policies. Children
BRYLOQ is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as BRYLOQ develops. Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
