Privacy Policy – ACCI Bradford

ACCI Bradford respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the ACCI Bradford mobile application ("the App") collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the App.

Information We Collect

The App may collect:

• Name – used to identify you within your ACCI Bradford account.
• Email address – used to create, authenticate and manage your account.
• User ID – used to securely associate your account with your information.
• User-generated content – including prayer requests and Prayer Wall submissions that you choose to provide.
• Device or other identifiers – including identifiers used to provide app functionality and push notifications.

How We Use Your Information

Information may be used to:

• Create, authenticate and manage user accounts.
• Provide ACCI Bradford App features.
• Receive and manage prayer requests and Prayer Wall submissions.
• Provide church information and services.
• Send relevant church and app notifications.
• Maintain the security and reliability of the App.

We do not sell users' personal information and do not use personal information for third-party advertising.

Prayer Requests and User-Generated Content

Submitting prayer requests or other user-generated content is optional. Content submitted for display on the Prayer Wall may be reviewed or moderated before it is displayed to other users.

Users should avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information in prayer requests or other submissions.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firebase services to support features such as authentication, cloud data storage and push notifications. Information may therefore be processed by Google as a service provider.

The App may also provide links to external services such as YouTube, Facebook or Zoom. When you choose to use an external service, that service's own privacy policy and terms apply.

Payments

Online card payments are not currently available in this version of the ACCI Bradford App. The App does not currently collect or process users' payment-card information.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. Information transmitted between the App and its cloud services is encrypted in transit.

Data Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App's services, maintain user accounts, comply with legal requirements or meet legitimate operational requirements.

Account and Data Deletion

To request deletion of your ACCI Bradford account and associated personal data, email: boldily2dthrone@gmail.com Please use the subject: ACCI Bradford Account Deletion Request. You may also request deletion of specific personal data without deleting your account. We will process verified deletion requests and remove associated data unless retention is required for legal, security, or regulatory reasons.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for the ACCI Bradford church community. We do not knowingly use children's personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our services or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
